When it comes to the safety front, we've got your back. That's why every OceanFirst Debit Card comes with the protection of our fraud monitoring service. Your peace of mind is the least we can do.

Keep us in the loop!

We monitor your account for unusual activity, such as large or more frequent transactions. If unusual activity is suspected, a Fraud Protection Specialist may contact you by phone to verify the authenticity of these transactions.

It is important that we know how to reach you by phone in the event there is fraudulent use of your OceanFirst Debit Card. To verify or update your contact information, please contact your OceanFirst Branch or call 1.888.623.2633 option 3.

Protect your OceanFirst Debit Card and PIN.

Take the extra steps to protect your debit card and personal information.

  • Your PIN is private, never give it to anyone.
  • Always cover your debit card and PIN and be aware of your surroundings, and watch for cell phone cameras, mirrors, or other tools that may be used to view cards and or PINs.

  • Services include:
    • Monthly credit score and report
    • Help detecting and disputing inaccurate items
    • Ongoing credit monitoring
    • Credit alerts with signs for identity theft

OceanFirst Visa Debit cardholders can use this to protect their online identity.

  • Cardholders should visit https://www.cardbenefitidprotect.com/ and enter their 16-digit Visa card number to confirm benefit eligibility and enroll.
  • The Dark Web and private forms are continuously patrolled looking for personal info belonging to the cardholder.
  • If anything is found, the cardholder will be notified with the proper steps to take.
  • U.S.-based Identity Restoration Specialists are available.
  • Visa cardholder will have access to discounts for additional Norton Restoration features.

Roadside Dispatch

OceanFirst Visa Debit cardholders are eligible to access this pay-per-use roadside assistance program. Cardholders call 1-800-847-2869 for roadside assistance.

  • Pre-negotiated rates for common service issues (e.g. locksmith or tow service).
  • The current fee for common services is $79.95 plus an additional fee to the provider for mileage over 5 miles.
